Clarification on situation- Redeployment

Hi all,

When your role is put 'at risk' and you are offered alternative employment which isn't similar at all, then, after having being re-deployed to a similar job (2nd alternative employment) if you are not happy, can you then reject your second alternative employ?

Basically, would this allow me to go to another employer without having to serve my 3 month notice period? (and potentially collect a redundancy payment although this is a bonus and not the sole purpose)

I've used the information from the website below as a guide-

Did you insist on a trial period as it was only a potential suitable alternative?

On what grounds are you going to reject the job as not suitable.
