. Aidanmc Have you ever received switching bonus from TSB? If not you could switch out your existing TSB account and reapply later using a recommend a friend link before 31 July.

I haven't switched out with TSB before, but unfortunately don't know anyone who can recommend me.0 -

You mean switch in to TSB? Go to the referrers board and you will get a referral. Some of the referrers are offering cashback also!0 -
Typical TSB, I tried to open a Classic Account with them, got to the end of the process, and then got an error message saying there was technical difficulties.
About 5 mins later, I received an email saying my Classic account is ready to use, except it isn't, as I've tried to log in with no joy.0 -

Sometimes I've had this with opening accounts (can't remember with TSB) you may have to wait for an activation code.0 -
It seems to work now. It only apples to the Easy Saver and eSavings accounts, both of which are being reduced from 0.30% to 0.15%. I can't see many MSEers being troubled by this
These are rates after 1st year. 1st year rates including bonus are Easy Saver reducing from 0.50% to 0.35% and 1st year eSavings reducing from 0.55% to 0.35%0 -

They are a business. They exist to make money.0 -

Probably perfectly normal if you're sending money abroad via a High Street bank, TSB or not.
Perhaps you should look for other, cheaper, ways of overseas transfers, not involving a High Street bank. Tthere are plenty of choices.0
