Following on from an article in a Sunday Newspaper yesterday 18.11.07 regarding the reconnection and cancellation charges for connecting/disconnecting home phone lines, can you help create a template for users to challenge or possibly reclaim these extortionate charges the Telecoms industry is charging users.The website has been extremely successful for users in reclaiming charges from the banks, so why not challenge the Telecoms on these charges.
I myself am miffed at the BT cancellation charge I incurred when I was not given any terms or conditions about usage when I signed up for line rental to then change to a better service provider. It is the only utility service I have without paper work.

What would you be claiming back then? If they did the work then you're paying for the work & labour to carry out the work.
With the bank charges its a whole different ball game. The charges were literally for nothing & couldnt prove that they were legal.
