Writing a Notice of Correction for AR on Credit Report

Options
Hi all,

I've got AR on two of my settled accounts (credit card and current account). One for one month and one for two consecutive months, both in Dec 2013 and Jan 2014.

Is it worth writing a Notice of Correction for both to reduce the negative impact on future borrowing?

Many thanks,

Oliver

I would not bother with a Notice of Correction as it will just draw attention to the negative markers. And besides, because of the age of the markers, the impact on how lenders will view you, is marginal.

And welcome to the forum :)

  • No an NOC will lead to further delayed checks when applying for credit.

Given the age of them and the small number of them I wouldn’t bother
  • That is reassuring and around the beginning of next year (feb) they will be gone?

    Thanks for the welcome!
  • Thanks I am glad I asked first.
