I think the OP is thinking perhaps along the same lines as I was (I will admit I've not looked into the auto services though) simply that perhaps you can have them switch you about and not have to mess about too much with the phone , endless emails or bits of paper etc.0

Some charge a fee and some only allow switches to companies where they get paid a referal fee.
So, the former cuts into your savings (as they calculate the stupid and immoral way) and the latter, there could be cheaper companies you could switch to.
Now, when things go wrong, who takes control? You or the website you switched with?0
