Hello everyone, last August bought a buy to let property and paid SDLT £20,400 plus legal cost £2000. Now for Tax Credit purposes, can I deduct those cost from rental income? I searched websites but could not found any clear answer.
Please bear in mind, there are different rules for income tax and tax credit about properties income.
Thanks in advance.
