Santander switching from VISA to MasterCard in 2020

Hello all,
I wouldn’t be surprised if this has already been posted, but, I found out a little while ago that Santander has plans to switch from VISA to MasterCard in 2020. I phoned them the other day to check it out and they said they are indeed migrating to Debit MasterCard next year.
Hope this is of some kind of interest!
