How to pursue a recovery with limited information

I bought a course experience which was cancelled by the tutor and I am unable to secure recovery of the fee. All I know is their
bank details, name , website and rough location. Is there anyway I can track down their details to enable me to issue a small claims summons?

Give us a bit more to go on and we might be able to help. For starters, what's the website?0

Hi
Thanks for the responses. It was a gift for my husband and friend for a seashore foraging course with Edible Leeds -Craig Worrall. On chasing him up for details of exactly where in Anglesey the course would take place in 4 days time he advised he had an issue with his lung so would be unable to take the course. He had been hoping to recover sufficiently to take the course.
I realise know what I have is a blog/ Facebook page rather than a website. It would appear I cannot post the lmk as a new user but it can be found under edible Leeds.
Thanks in advance0 -
You could try instructing a tracing agent to get an address for him. Needn't necessarily cost a huge amount.0

So, have you asked for your money back , what was the result, and when did you last contact him.Could he not simply be Ill.0

I have e mailed him quite a few times (last time yesterday). He asked for my bank details which I provided some time ago and he promised to sort it out that day and he hasn't. I keep chasing and he says he will sort it but so far he hasn't.
I noticed an old posting which suggested you could legitimately use a number of sites including the post office to locate an address so that I could then issue a small claims action but the sites quoted must have changed as the instructions no longer apply. Hence the reason for the request for help.0 -
