  • I'd imagine it is that - the banks especially not liking Curve's model as it's potentially costing them.

    As Amex blocked it, I'm sure others could do so and spin it as "risk management" or similar.

    Amex saw a stupid % increase in spend (which Curve even admitted) prior to blocking it - banks know people are playing the system.

    Curve know (and profit from it) so I think are just talking the talk to prevent any further sanctions. They must already be treading water after launching Metal etc. and then the Amex chaos straight afterwards
