Mixing two shades of culprinol
Hi there,
My quest for just the right decking colour goes on.. I’m used the culprinol and wanted the decking just a shade lighter than the fence which is silver copse. I’ve used silver birch which is too light and urban slate is too dark. My question is therefore can I mix the two colours together or would they not mix properly?
Sorry if this sounds a silly question - they’re £25 a pot so an expensive mistake to make!

If they're the same stuff, they're mixable.
Caveat - check they are, cuprinol do lots of different things, so as long as they are the same paint type, it'll be fine.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
I've done it, but mix enough first time if possible - it's difficult to recreate exactly the same shade twice!0

Be warned it doesn't wear well at all, we did a small decking trying to tidy it up as a stop gap after 6months we ended up replacing it earlier than planned as the decking paint stain wore worse than what we covered up.0
