Can we get life insurance with endometriosis?

My wife has endometriosis which anyone who knows what it is, will know it’s a chronic condition that hasn’t had a lot of research on. We don’t have a mortgage but looking to get one soon.
She has had an operation but still isn’t right as endometriosis can’t be cured. Trouble is, there the possibility that it has spread to her lungs. There is a only a few cases reported worldwide. It’s not lethal(we hope) but as there is not much on the subject I wonder how difficult it would to obtain life insurance and insurance if she was unable to work again?
Also, if we were to apply, then specifying everything that she has reported to the doctor will be in high numbers, and though it all linked to endometriosis I’m not sure that the insurers would understand that as the leading doctors on the UK don’t fully understand it. Seems a difficult situation we are in. Any advise appreciated.

Speak to a broker and they can make enquiries with the insurance companies and let you know what options, if any, are available.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

I’m afraid I don’t have much knowledge of endometriosis but I got life insurance and I have 2 neurological conditions, both of which are chronic, not life threatening but can not be cured. I have to pay more because of my conditions and critical illness cover was refused.
I agree a broker is the best way to go.0 -
Thanks. When you say broker, should I just apply online via a a comparison site, or will I need to speak to someone over the phone? Thanks0

Speak with an actual broker as comparison sites make assumptions.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0
