Esa contribution based

Hi all first post so go easy!
I was on contribution based esa in the work related group for about 10 months then moved to support group.
My question is, as I have an assessment coming up, if I get moved into the work relate Group again will the 12 month time limit start again or will the 10 month count towards it that I already had at the start or because I was in the support group and moved into work related group in starts again?
Sorry if that sounds confusing it’s just I’m preparing for the worst and based on the fact that you can only get contribution based for 12 months I’m a little concerned.thanks for all your help!!!

The 10 months in WRAG will be counted, time in the Support Group will be ignored.

    Thanks for reply!
    This is worrying to know.
When you get your re assessment say you had your assessment in January, and got your decision in March and you were told you would be recalled 12 months later, when do you get the recall appointment?
Would they contact you say January a year later or go off the March date?
Also do they take into account you are already in support group and look at this fairly or does this go against you? Ie they want you out of it?

Sorry for soooo many questions just worried

For ESA I don’t they usually tell you when your next assessment is likely to be. There are other posters on the forum who may be able to provide additional information.

Calcotti is correct here. There's never any time scales on ESA decision letters because they can re-assess you anytime from 3 months.

They will tell you a timescale if you ring but really that's only a guide. I've always gone way over the time they tell me but some are assessed before the time.

You really never know when that white envelope will come through your door and it's even more of a surprise because it's not the usual brown envelop.

I was going to say is it not the usual dreaded brown envelope!
After my assessment I called to see if a decision had been made and that’s when they told me I had been placed in the support group and I asked about the period for review and they said 12 months.
So you are saying that’s just a guide Andy it’s likely to go over?!
How long has every one gone over?
