What should I do about my Egg card payment?

I've just put though a BT request with another card company to transfer the full balance onto my Egg card. I now realise I didn't think this though clearly as a direct debt of about £70 is due to come out on the 30th of this month putting my account into credit.
Will I get charged for this?
Also as an option, if I cancel the DD now i.e. 5 working day before it's due to come out will this be ok? Bearing in mind that the following month there will be a small residual amount of interest. I know Egg prefer DD payments could I just make a manual payment to cover this?
Regards

If it's Egg Money, the card is designed to run with a positive balance if you wish so that won't be a problem
If it's Egg Card, there won't be a charge (from Egg,) for going positive.
Cancelling the DD will result in Egg contacting you to re-instate it.
Your simplest solution would be to ring Egg up (or contact them via secure message) to confirm if they'll actually call on the DD for £70 since you may get the BT in time for them to notice and so not call on the DD for that month.
Alternatively, if you can afford to, keep the £70 on the card, and use the card for normal purchases until the balance is £0.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

It's an egg credit card and I think I will go with this option. I thought they might not take the DD if the balance was paid off 5 working days before the DD is due to come out.0 -
Touch and go. I suspect the transfer will occur too late for them to notice it for DD purposes. If you could afford the £70 going out of your current account, then spend it later, I'd go for that. It's an egg credit card and I think I will go with this option. Your comment 'it's an egg credit card' clears not a lot however. They have two, you have one of them, you haven't made clear which one. Is it Visa or Mastercard? Egg Money is MC, Egg Card is Visa if that makes it any clearer for you.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
