Discrepancy in electricity quotes
Why is there a difference in quotes between kw usage and monthly payment.
We use 8905 kw per year
We pay 107 per month.
So quoted using kw and comparison says Im saving but its the same monthly DD amount. Dont get this, help?
Used DD amount and was quoted prices around £86 per month. Which is around 30 per month.
Which quote do I trust?

I would only ever use actual consumption data, look at the cost, then check the calculations using the actual tariff data (since I've seen uSwitch get it wrong).
((s/charge x 365)+(unit rate x 8905))x1.05
Do that for your current tariff and the one you're interested in.0 -
Ok Tall Dave,
Will try that. It os the same on other comparison sites as well as uswitch.0
