Only if you have a shop, I believe. I just had to end all of my listings, one by one. Tedious to say the least.

If you are only away for a few days could you not just extend the dispatch times on your listings? I did this when I was going away for a long weekend. It meant that even if someone won something when I was away I would still have time to post it when I got back.

If you are a private seller, just end the listings. It's easier and won't cost you assuming you have a zillion free listings next week.....

Spot on; my standard despatch time is set to 3 days so I can go away for a very long weekend with no problem still meeting targets.

I change my despatch time a lot, depends on working patterns and my love of holidays. I tend to switch off the shop entirely though once it exceeds 4 working days as buyers start moaning.

However, I can guarantee that as soon as I go on a short break and switch to a 3 working day despatch the very first thing I sell with have a note attached to it along the lines of 'hi, I've paid for this and need it urgently, can you please ensure it gets into today's post' . I tend to email back just pointing out that it clearly shows a 3 working day despatch so item will not be sent until XX - and ask them to request a cancellation if that doesn't work for them.

There is an easier way, go to your listings then tick the box, so all your listings are ticked, then go to the top heading, click on that, then end.

Hope you can follow that and it helps.

I don't have this facility on my private account.

I extend dispatch time and add a note to the description to state I will be away so questions and dispatch will be delayed to keep buyers happy - did this the other week when we went away for the whole week, worked perfectly. You can do it in bulk edit too, if you have a lot of listings.

Removing the note after is a one-by-one edit though, unfortunately..
  • As above or just add £1,000 to the price, that stops anyone buying. I have business accounts but no shop so can't set holiday settings, I dont want to end the listings as I have some with hundreds of sales so they get good visibility in searches.

    Thanks.

That's strange, my account is private too.

Listings, active listings, tick empty box at headings, Actions (at top heading) - drop down menu, choose - END.

You don't have the above ? Got to say I don't know too much about the bay.
