I purchased a PE bag on eBay.
It's got a cartoon on it aimed at primary school children, and is listed as a PE bag.
The dimensions are listed as 27 cm x 34 cm, but silly me didn't bother thinking about that bit!! I just assumed that because it said PE bag, it would fit a PE kit in!
DOH! Wrong!
It certainly won't fit my son's PE kit in without some careful rolling, and even then it won't quite shut. He would certainly rip it if he tried putting it in himself.
I'm annoyed at myself for not checking the dimensions, but also annoyed that they listed it as a PE bag when in reality it would only be suitable for toddlers with tiny feet!!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Lunch holder instead?
I've often misread dimensions, mixed up inches and cm. Did it last week with some pots, thought in inches and they arrived in cm; good job it's for bonsai!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Can you butcher it with some other material and make it bigger?0

It is very flimsy, so not sure it would take much butchering!!
I assumed it would be nylon, so it puffed out a bit in the middle like normal PE bags, but this is a very different material and flat. The photo makes it look puffed out!
Might contact the seller anyway as this really should not be advertised as a PE bag!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Why not return it?
It will not cost much large letter.0 -
I do it regularly, mostly with online food shopping. I bought a rather expensive pie once to share with DH for dinner one night. It barely fed one person. Then there was the miniature ice cream incident and the bread bin that doesn't actually fit a loaf.
I double check everything now0 -

I bought a bottle of wine with my Tesco home delivery shopping to take to my parents house. Turned out to be 50 cl not 75! :rotfl:
Had to drink it as they would have laughed if I'd brought that as a gift.
At £2.50 the bag isn't worth returning. I'm just annoyed they can call it a PE bag!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

I suspect they count on that, can you not send it back 'Not as described?' I thought they paid the postage then.0 -

That would be an easy win for any seller as the sizes were shown. A PE bag for some might mean a change of T shirt and shorts for gym work which would fit a tiny bag- right up to duffel bags needed for cricket pads - so checking the size is quite important.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It wouldn't fit a towel in unless rolled tightly, and it would split if you tried to 'shove' anything in it!
It is similar dimensions to his current (ancient and broken) PE bag except it is so flat that you cannot really fill it with anything. It would be more suited to a couple of books rather than anything bulky.
Never mind... I have pointed out to the seller that their description is misleading but no response. I guess I will just leave a neutral so that others after a PE bag might think twice!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
