Child tax credits and milege payments

Hi all. Looking for help as I need to complete my ctc declaration and I'm getting into a pickle about milege payments. My wife is a community nurse and receives her milege reimbursed on the occasion when she uses our car. Works out between 50 to 100 pounds a month, it appears on her NHS payslip as mileage payments and it appears to make up her gross pay on her p60.
I've read conflicting information online about if I should declare the mileage payments or not when submitting my renewal. I've also called tax credits and they say mileage paid is counted as benefits in kind and is classed as income.

Can anyone give any impartial advice? I dont want to end up messing up my declaration...thank you!
