Hi,
Have been receving emails from Help2Buy about accessing grants/funding for replacement windows/doors. Anyone dealt with them? Are they a legitimate route to reducing costs for this?
Appreciate any responses.

You need to read their web site carefully.
1. They state quite categorically that it is NOT a Government scheme.
2. They appear to be an organisation which sells the leads gathered from enquirers to window / door installers.
3. As the installer has to pay for the lead, it seems to me unlikely that the costs would be in any way reduced.

I'm sure all discerning people would rush to employ a firm with a confusing, copycat name like that!
Best value will be from local firms with a good trading record. Get 3 written quotes and don't stand for 'special deals' that must be accessed now, today, immediately etc.
If your credit record is good, loans are 3% at present. Unlikely to get cheaper. Depends on your circumstances, of course.0 -
On one of Martin's posts on Facebook warning about scams someone asked if this was a scam too. I looked into it and there were lots of people who had registered their details, and then have been hounded by many companies trying to sell them windows.
They shouldn't be allowed to use that name.0
