Planning a family bike ride this weekend, any local knowledge regarding how wet the trail is after all the rain we've had.

    I live about 20 miles away and would not want to be out on a family bike ride in this weather, it’s very open on the Monsal Trail, went a few months back and it was absolutely freezing and snowing/sleeting, when the weather here was cold but it’s a different world up there. Pick a good day and you will enjoy it much more.
