Does anyone here now what the City AM is or does anyone have access to it? :)

    Found info about it:
"City A.M. is a London--based freesheet that specialises in financial news. It started in 2005, making it the first one of its type in the world (Cash Daily, based in Zurich, Switzerland, followed in 2006). It is completely owned by itself as CITY A.M. Limited. The paper covers business and finance news aimed at young business professionals in the City, with the format of a tabloid with lighter amount of text and more colourful pictures as well as having diary, lifestyle and sports sections. At start, it was intended as a free rival to the likes of the Financial Times and Daily Telegraph business section. It is available from Monday to Friday each week in using both targeted distribution 'bins' (often placed inside businesses) in the City and as well as uniformed hand-distributors outside tube stations in the Central London area and at Canary Wharf and at the four airports of London (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and London City)."

    Anyone from London? :)
Goal: Win a car (or cash to buy one :))! -- Haha goal from when I was a student. Never actually won this but got a good job instead.

    What I achieved:
    Car paid in full straightaway.
    Two properties fully paid. Wohhoooo!

It appears they have reached their 50millionth trade. So I didn't win. But can't get through link to find out who did win. Will update, if no-one beats me to it!

Edit: you have to get a copy of their City AM mag/paper next week to find out who the winner is! Good luck everyone!
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

Yeah, it's a free paper they try to give you when you get out of the tube station every morning. I always decline as I am not THAT interested in the capital's finance news. I am more interested in my own finances, LOL. If it's important, I can get one easily next week.
    Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH

I think it would be very useful if you could put here the name of the winner :)
    Thanks in advance!

Message on the site this morning that they have reached the 50 millionth trade and the winner will be published in the paper next week.

Anyone who chose dates on or later than today - don't cry too much will you! (That includes me by the way)

I shall try and remember! I picked one up for the first time ever this morning and there is a huge advert in it about it, saying "CMS Markets has reached its landmark 50 millionth trade. One lucky City AM reader has von £50,000. Pick up your copy of City AM next week to find out if it was you..."
