EDF - Strange Variations on Tariffs (Direct vs Energy Club)

I used the Energy Club to do a comparison.
Igloo is the cheapest.
EDF is £2 more a month.
Both have the £25 cashback offer.
EDF has a £106 offer if I go through Topcashback.
But the "Online Easy Fix v3" is only available through the cheap energy club.
Going direct to the website gets you v2, which is a lot more expensive:
I also find it strange EDF aren't up front with the cost of their tariff on the "More Info" page: https://my.edfenergy.com/gas-electricity/easy-online
I'd be tempted to change my usage numbers to see if the same prices come up but looks like I'm back to switching to Igloo.

Yeah, i had a similar issue about 6 months ago. I tried going through TCB but they didn't have the energy club tariff there. I think it's because they know you're already getting a good cashback deal ( potentially if it pays out!), so they're restricting the offer/tariff. Hope this helps.0

I also got as far as starting to sign up via TopCasback for nearly £100 extra cashback only to find the annual cost to be £370 more!!! Further investigation uncovered the v2/v3 discrepancy and needless to say I did not proceed with the switch.0

Cashback has to come from somewhere, so what you find is not at all surprising.
What would the point be in entering false data? You'll still end up paying for what you use.0
