UC - Deductions

Hi All,
So following on from my other post, my mum isn't going to challenge being assessed as fit to work (even though she is signed off for her angina by her MD).
She looked at her payments and she is being given £498.89, however there are a lot of deductions and she is just ready to give up. Jumping through these hoops is making her very anxious.
The deductions says they take -£379.33 for "for other income that you have" (She doesn't know what this is, possibly my dads council pension?)
-£775.15 for my dads state pension
-£100.05 for having savings over £6k from when a family member died.
Total deductions
-£1,254.53
Given her monthly allowance is £498.89 she's doesn't even know if she will be entitled to anything & she's just ready to give up on it all.
Is it worth continuing to fight this?
thanks in advance!

Not worth claiming UC, as the deductions are more than the standard allowance.
Other income will be whatever was advised to UC, which is probably employment pension. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
Yes.
No point continuing the UC claim.
Because current household income is in excess of amounts payable under (means tested) UC.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
Even if she was found to have LCWRA there would be no UC entitlement due to other income.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
