Although they could in theory pursue your relative in Poland, it would be hugely expensive They would have to involve the Foreign Office, perhaps the Polish Embassy and our Consul in Poland.
The best way out of this is to give them your nephew's name and address. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Can't they just use the European Small Claims procedure?Although they could in theory pursue your relative in Poland, it would be hugely expensive They would have to involve the Foreign Office, perhaps the Polish Embassy and our Consul in Poland.0 -
Yes, you should delete it.fakdeworld wrote: »Should I delete that paragraph referring to GPEOL?0 -
I was just thinking what KeithP said. But, would they use ESC procedure for 1 pound 50 unpaid?
The other thing is, I really doubt it they will ever find?track him. Hi is now leaving at temporary addresses. Little bit with parents, grand parents, girlfriend ....
And in the July / August, he is planning to go to Scandinavia. For how long? I don't know .Maybe weeks ,maybe months, maybe years. So it's a matter of time before I will lose any track of him.0 -
I can,t imagine they will use Foreign Office, Consul,Embassy,,, They would tell them to go to hell, perhaps.0

Of course.Gold standard advice and what an offer of support!!
If this does go to court can I come to observe? I'll bring the champagne.
None ever have. And OPS are not clever enough to blaze that trail.would they use ESC procedure for 1 pound 50 unpaid?
OK. So that's the stage you are at and you need to get some comments in today.yesterday i saw that POPLA is asking me for comments against evidence uploaded by OPS. I have 7 days from receiving their correspondence (submitted 07/06) , so only 2 days left.
LOL, they can't report an individual person to the ICO! That is an idle threat I've only seen made by idiots (and believe me, I've seen some rubbish like that from idiots in my time).OPS send evidence - lot of pictures from the site. In the letter they come to the point straight away, telling me that any info from this letter is strictly confidential and sharing it, will end up reporting me to ICO.
YOU ARE ALLOWED to show us their POPLA evidence.
There is no law against it and this is a case about your data, your car, so of course you can share and get help.
Please show us the POPLA evidence, the photos of signs and the landowner statement.

Operator Name One Parking Ltd
Operator Case Summary
Any information provided in the defence of this parking charge is provided only for the Appellant and Assessor to view. The information is strictly confidential and commercially sensitive. No file, in part or whole submitted by One Parking Solution Ltd may be copied or shared with any other individuals in paper or electronic form. Any such sharing of files or information provided by One Parking Solution Ltd will be reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
A redacted contract is supplied to protect personal information.
The appellant entered into a contractual agreement upon parking on site. The terms are laid out on the signage on site and including at the entrance state that parking is permitted for vehicles displaying a valid PAY AND DISPLAY TICKET, (and/or pay by phone) pre-authorised vehicles parked wholly within the allocated parking space/ marked bay. By parking or remaining on site otherwise than in accordance with the above the driver agrees to pay a parking charge.
At the time of the contravention the appellant was not displaying a valid pay and display ticket, and nor did they have pre-authorisation to park their vehicle in the car park as they were not on the exemption list and therefore agreed to pay a parking charge.
The Appellant says the driver was making use of the facilities to load some belongings into the vehicle. The Appellant states the driver did not purchase a parking session because he was only going to be on site for 30 minutes. There is no free parking on this site. The signs state: “All users of this car-park must purchase a valid Pay & Display ticket and/or a valid parking session prior to leaving site”.
The Appellant states that he visited the car park and he believes the signs are not sufficient. Site photos and a site map are included. The signs are displayed throughout the car park including at the entrance.
The Appellant has provided some photos of the site which confirm the signs are bright and contrast well with the surfaces they are attached to.
The Appellant states the appeal response is a lie because it refers to the parking attendant. The parking attendant may not have been on site, but he did review the contravention. The site is managed by ANPR, all contraventions are reviewed by a parking attendant prior to the parking charge notice being posted.
The Appellant states he wants to pass the driver’s details to One Parking Solution. The opportunity to transfer liability has long since passed.
It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure they are parked in accordance with the terms. If they are unable to do so they should either, make alternative parking arrangements or otherwise agree to pay a parking charge. If the driver is unsure, our number is on the boards and the signs are BPA approved.
As the driver has not been named, One Parking Solution Ltd are seeking keeper liability.0 -
...and also I want to say ,that my appeal to POPLA was very short. Kind of complaining why me? and what they want from me?
I try to find the copy of it but without any luck so far. I can't even see it on POPLA tracking page.0 -
fakdeworld, I clicked on one link and immediately saw your personal details. Please hide those details ASAP. The parking companies do come here to see what they can find out about people.0
