Credit file not updated - Lowell, BW Legal

Hi all!

I’ve been working hard to get debt free and doing well. Payment arrangements in place with Lowell and BW Legal for old debts which I’ve never missed a payment on.

As a few of these are close to being done with I thought I’d check my full credit report. Amazed and horrified to discover it says I’ve missed all payments on these accounts since 2017 when I set up the arrangements.... I quickly put in several disputes and have emailed Lowell and BW but is this likely to work? I have proof of all payments via the Lowell app and my bank statements.

Is this unusual? I’m quite annoyed to be honest... I thought my crappy score was down to still having these arrangements ongoing but evidently it’s also to do with them being listed as missed payments!

No, it's normal. You're not making your contractual payments.

If it hasn't also been marked as defaulted, ask them to do that for the appropriate date.
