Property held in trust how to insure it?? (Buildings insurnace)

My nan has lived in her property for 40+ years. When my grandfather passed away the property was put in trust. My nan is the life tenant. My Aunt and Uncles are the trustees with them along with other siblings as beneficiaries.
My question is regarding buildings insurance. Who can arrange this
- can it be in my nans name (I have been told no)
- If in trustees name standard buildings insurance states they need to occupy the premises
- Landlords insurance requires there to be a tenancy agreement in place etc which there isn't
Has anyone been in a similar position?
Thanks

Speak to a proper local insurance broker. Not a call centre. They'll be able to arrange a Property Owners policy in the name of the trustees.0

Talk to a broker on this definitely. Insurance can be arranged on a standard home insurance policy with some insurers as essentially family living in property otherwise could be treated as a property owners policy. Easily done.I work in Insurance (Broker). All views are my own.0
