How rubbish are Parcelforce

No wonder they are called Parcelfarce all the time. Ordered an item on ebay last Tuesday, it was due to be delivered on Thursday, tracking showed it was due to arrive between 4:00pm to 5:00pm. It never showed up, card allegedly left but there was no card. Then on Friday, due to be delivered, but again no show, then on Monday, for the third time, due to be delivered but No Show.

Complete joke of a courier, if they aren't going to deliver then why bother giving me a delivery time.

I receive parcels from PF regularly, and have never had any problems.

All carriers are only as good as the individual person doing the delivery. Have you tried contacting PF? People have reported getting quick responses by posting on Twitter or Facebook.

Sometimes this sort of tracking happens when there is an error in the address. The driver ends up with a parcel which is not on their round so it is returned to the depot. It should be flagged up but sometimes isn't and goes out again the next day ...

I agree. Could it simply be that the wrong address has been printed on the label?
  • Confirmed the address with the seller which appears to be correct.

Contacted Parcelforce yesterday who assured me the item would be delivered yesterday, it never arrived. The tracking at one point showed my parcel was about 5 miles away, but then it just stopped updating.

It's almost as if they are not putting my parcel into their van, scanning it at the depot and then leaving without it. Heard a few stories about drivers pretending to attempt delivery but then all couriers have the odd bad egg. My parcel is quite big and bulky and weighs approx 15KG so I hope it isn't a case of an incredibly lazy delivery driver. My parcel also seems to get the slot near the end shift, 5pm to 6pm. Naturally you'd think as it has been missed out so many times it might be an idea to stick it at the front of the queue.

It's current status is 'Prepared for delivery'.

Multi drop parcel routing doesnt really allow for that.
going to the front as you put it,means 'dead' driving all the way to your house missing parcel drops on the way.

Have to agree something isnt right though. driver issue, routing issue or something.
I usually advise hitting up companies on Twitter.
