Hi BE
I think there are a few Quidco deals with photo companies that mean you get a certain amount of free prints. It could be a lovely personal gift for your friends if you could find some stylish frames to put them in.0 -
By the way I am V impressed with your signature – how on earth did you kill all that debt so quickly?

Part was down to hard work, cutting spending & taking a 2nd job, part was an inheritance from my mum, & part was by using my bank charges refund - my argument was that I wouldn't have been that much in debt if they hadn't kept charging me!0 -
Hi Alexnikov, thanks for the suggestion, my friends do love photos – I’m going to have a quick look. I used to make my own photo frames but I gave all the stuff to my sister when she went through a ‘craft’ phase and it would be WAY too expensive to buy it all again.
Floss, I am really really impressed. I used to have a 2nd job but there’s no way I can at the moment, my hours are way too unpredictable and I often get sent away at short notice. I’m motivated though, if you can do so much by cutting spending, maybe I can have a go too.
Yay! Feeling very positive – a very unusual situation for 4pm on a Monday with no chocolate in sight! Thanks you two :A

Oh well...
Have been quite bad today due to late night yesterday. BUT have signed up for a bit of promo work so it should balance out nicely.

hi be just reading your diary you seem to have your head screwed on right at least ...have you thought about matched betting? it can be a way of making a good bit of extra income, ss is talking about doing an easy to follow lesson on the subject in the new year (he loves taking peoples virginitys off them lol) he helped me when i began and it made all the difference, give it a thought and maybe check out the gambling board for info ...just to see if your comfortable with the idea good luck for the future0

Hi Elantan
Thanks for dropping by and thanks for your kind comments:D
I am DEFINITELY interested in matched betting but I know I need to spend a bit of time researching it properly. If by SS you mean Southern Scouser, I would be very interested in any course of his as I have read some of his stuff on other threads, especially ciarasdreams’ thread (I am a serial lurker have not posted anywhere til recently!) and he seems to know everything! :T
Can I ask, how long have you been doing it for and how easy did you find it to get started?
Cheers

OK, hopefully will get some experts dropping by to answer this one…..:o
So I have set up an account with Annual Credit Report and it has flagged up some bad stuff on my credit record. For some reason it has highlighted my electoral role as bad (I’m registered properly) and also my credit card. I expected the CC to be bad – I finally paid it off in March this year but had missed some payments due to stupidism – but now I wonder how long that’s going to be bad for? And how can your electoral role make you look bad?
To be honest, I’m not 100 per cent bothered about my credit report I have no intention of taking out any credit ever again BUT I’ll be wanting to get a mortgage with my partner in the next few years – is it likely to have ballsed this idea up?
Any help on this front would be much appreciated as I am totally clueless!
Thanks lovely people

As far as Christmas presents are concerned, could I suggest Hawkins Bazaar? Was given their catalogue recently, but they're on-line too.
The stuff's silly, slightly different from what you can get in most shops up here and (best of all) prices start at 99p!! :j
Worth a look anyway...A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!
