New Ford Transit Tippers - clutch issues

My son, who's a builder, bought a brand new Ford Transit Tipper. He queried the clutch when he bought it because he wasn't totally happy with it but he was told it was because it was new. Now the clutch has burnt out after only 2000 miles! Ford are refusing to replace it under warranty because they say it's his fault. He's done some research online and discovered that there is a problem with the clutch in this particular model and Ford have now produced a conversion kit for them.

He found the CEO's email address online and emailed him. He received a reply saying they would investigate and, in the first instance, they would provide him with a courtesy vehicle while it's repaired, only to withdraw the offer on the same day.

The Ford dealer don't even seem to be able to get the parts to replace the clutch for at least another week!

Any ideas on who he can complain to?
