Inspection of Metering Equipment -Scottish Power

Hi


I arrived home to find a letter saying that Scottish Power need to carry out an a Health and Safety inspection, and that I to reply within 7 days or they will take action to gain access.

2 questions :


- Is this really an inspection or are they going to try and install a smart meter at the same time *which I do not want)


- Are they really likely to obtain a warrant to gain access? I work 5 days a week anyway and I'm not going to take a day off just to have them gain access.

Yes they do need to make a Safety Inspection - and no its not a Smart Meter by back door


Yes they can obtain a warrant but ring them and get them to offer an evening appointment.
