Hi
Has anyone on here had any experience or bought any holidays / days out on Travelzoo?
I’ve seen they do holidays which I’m interested in, but they sound so cheap, kind of too cheap.
Have the things you bought turned out to be as described, or have they been rubbish?
Can the website be trusted?

Never booked a foreign holiday on travelzoo but booked a short UK hotel break last year and everything was fine and a good deal too.
The only down side I found was I had to call the hotel first to make sure the dates were available, I then purchased the deal then called the hotel back to book the dates. A faff but all worked out.
For foreign holidays I would make sure the company is abta, atol bonded etc.0 -
I’ve booked lots of days out e.g. restaurant deals and they’ve all been fine.
When I’ve needed a refund that’s been fine too.
As always read the small print e.g. service charges are often on the pre-discounted price, but I’ve always found that to be clear.0 -
I've booked a few short UK breaks, I have found some of the places can be a little tired, but nothing major, and I've always had exactly what they told me. I've stayed in some lovely places, including castles, always been happy to accomodate my gluten free requirements (I always phone first to make sure they have notice) .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
