International bank account

Hello everyone- I have friends in China who want to buy property in the U.K. They’d also like a U.K. bank account if possible, I’ve done some research and they don’t qualify for most of the international accounts offered by Barclays/Lloyd’s etc. So I was just wondering if anyone knows how we can get them set up with an account in the U.K.- currently I’m thinking it might be better to get a business account?

Without them coming over to the UK with all the paperwork it ain't going to happen.
With a business account they still need to be in the UK (if as you say they are unable to open an International account).0 -
They could try HSBC or Bank of China, both of whom operate in both countries.0

What do you mean by 'international accounts offered by Barclays/Lloyd’s etc' and why don't your friends qualify? Do they have a UK residential address yet? Any particular purpose for an account?Evolution, not revolution0
