Exercise Class Refund

Hello,
I purchased a block of exercise classes but haven't used them. The classes were local to where I work and I no longer work in the area and will be unable to use the classes.
I have emailed the company asking if it is possible to get a refund as I haven't used the sessions, I'm still awaiting a reply.
Do you know if I would be entitled to a refund in this case?
This is from their terms and conditions:
"Subject to any statutory right of cancellation, payments for Credits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Conditions."
Nothing is stated so I guess I have lost my money in this case, can I have your opinions please?
Thanks

I would say unless they offer goodwill it's non refundable.
It's your fault you cannot use themEx forum ambassador

I can't see why they'd be obliged to refund. Your choice not to use them.0

You say you no longer work in the area but whats stopping you from attending the classes ?0

Thanks for the messages. The classes are in London and I now work in Reading, so it's not feasible for me to travel to London to attend the class.0

I agree with the others I'm afraid. This is the risk you take when buying up front. I assume buying that way gave you a discount compared to the pay-as-you-go rate? If so, then it rather defeats the object of such a discount if people can opt out early and get a refund.0

Are they transferrable? Maybe you could get some second-hand value back selling them to a mate who lives closer to the classes.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0

Know anyone in London who could use them ?0 -
The classes are discounted in a way that the more you buy the cheaper they are per session.
I checked the terms and they are not transferable either. I guess I have lost out this time.0 -
