Portable A/V solution for small group training

I need to source a portable audio visual solution to train small groups of volunteers, max 6 people. I want to show a couple of 3 minute video clips and a number of slides mostly with short bullet points and simple graphics. Training environment in terms of light levels is unpredictable.
I have a laptop with USB C output and the appropriate leads to output HDMI. I'm thinking of a cheap light weight projector and a pull up projection screen that sits on a table.
There seems to be a large number of projector options, does anyone have experience of such a set up and can recommend what to purchase or advise on an alternative solution?
Thanks for any help.

I was on a training course a few weeks ago where the trainer used an LG Minibeam, it was absolutely miniscule but the image was just fine.0

Thanks for this, unfortunately there are a number of minibeam models and the ones that I can find prices for, cost more than I want to pay.0 -
I hired AV equipment from a local hire company that specialised in presentation equipment. It was cost effective for a one-off presentation. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

You can get 20" tablets which should be more than adequate for 6 people to gather round to watch a video.
example (needs a charger)
For slides have printouts, then people can make notes on them and keep them.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
put it on youtube and get them to watch it on their phones. Think everything bar a tv will cost you cash and need configuring0

Thanks, that's an idea I'll investigate.0 -
