Idiot seller - now what?

Bought a picture frame with the option of glass or Perspex, opted for glass and was sent with very scratched perspex. Messaged the seller to ask how they would put it right and they said they'd send the replacement glass.
Which they have. In a Jiffy bag, in a bit of bubble wrap with no other protection, not marked fragile (although wouldn't have made any difference) hence smashed into a multitude of little pieces.
Do I now go the item not as described route and do they pay the return, as I have no faith in them getting me what I ordered in one piece any time soon?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Yep, I'd definitely open a SNAD claim . Reminds me of a seller I saw at the mail centre a few years back, had a large mirror, badly covered with a black bin bag arguing with the staff who were refusing to take it in - the sender was insistent that as long as the Postman was careful it would be fine!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's the only way to be sure. Pity, but other frames are available.0
