Bulb Energy - No credit check?

Apparently Bulb take energy payments up front, so they don't run a credit account. Presumably there's no credit check or credit reporting with a Bulb account. Can anyone confirm this?

Note here it does say "may" so they might or might not. Pretty sure I've seen conditions elsewhere for other suppliers that say "will run a credit check" or wording like that rather than "may" so I'd say they could but I'd not be 100% if they did or not.

If you're planning on going to them anyway you could always ask directly I guess ?

I see what you're saying though if its paid in advance = should not really need a credit check but further up in those terms (just search the page for 'credit') it mentions something:

3.16. You must keep your account in credit by paying for the supply in advance by automatic payment, or if you're in debt with us, you agree to not be in debt by more than half of what we've calculated as being your expected annual bill.
