Lovely lists; thank you Jazee. I haven't been able to keep up this week but I did manage to get two loads through the WM and pegged out today, and had a right old go at the bathroom yesterday afternoon while I was running a bath. It really needed it, too.

Morning all
Another gloomy looking day but not raining at the moment. Washing in swishing but likely to have to dry indoors again. Going to try and do a bit of weeding and tidying in the garden if the weather cooperates. May also go for a walk later on.
Will put dishes away after breakfast and then do the dailies, if I can motivate myself I may even clean the oven to finally get it done!
Have a lovely day all x0 -
Morning all.
Going to make finishing laying the bathroom tiles my first job today but obviously cuppa first.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all. Migraine gone. Back much better today. Still coughing a bit. Thanks for all GWS wishes.
But my problems pale into insignificance compared to those of our vicar, who yesterday - already feeling under the weather - drove to East Anglia (not a short distance from here!), became seriously ill, and is now recovering in hospital there from an emergency procedure that has saved his life. Can't see him being back with us for a whileAnd, among other services, we have two baptisms this afternoon for which we need an ordained minister. I spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening calming our churchwarden's panic, contacting the families, and doing all that I can to prepare so that the day is memorable in a positive way for them despite the upset. I'm paddling madly like a swan, but all shall be well! Hopefully the churchwarden has managed to get the staffing problem sorted now - I shall find out shortly.
Very little to report on the flying front, apart from WM/TDx3 FUPA and daily S&S of kitchen and bathroom. Tomorrow afternoon and evening DH is running his garden railway and the Old Wives are serving tea/coffee and cakes as a charity fundraiser, so I must at least get the ground floor cleaned and plant out the alpines I bought recently in the raised bed, to make it look a bit less bare. Everything else in the garden is jungling madly! I'm counting on it being too wet to sit outside and will just trim the lawn edge with the long-handled shears (so that I don't have to bend down) to make it look as if I have done some proper gardeningWe're forecast showers this morning (while I'm at church) but dry weather and even some sunshine this afternoon, so hopefully I shall be able to get outside. for long enough to do what is needed.
(((Hugs))) to all who need them today xx0 -
Morning :hello:
What an awful night! Sleep eluded me and then when it came, it brought bad dreams with it. At least if I'm tired today I'll know why! Every cloud and all that
I'm going to watch DS kart racing so that I can spend time with Dad on Father's Day. Bank of Grandad being mainstay + mechanic of DS's racing career! DS and Dad set off at 6.45 am - GF and I will follow at a more reasonable 9 am.... but we don't have to sign on and be scrutineered
As I'm going to spend the best part of 7 hours on an abandoned airfield I have packed my umbrella (in case it rains), a jumper (in case it turns cool), my Alonso baseball-type hat (in case it's sunny) and lots of magazines to read in between DS's races.
I'm washed and dressed: had to wash my hair as I looked like a punk rocker when I got up and just running a comb through didn't make any difference - too much gunk on it from the hairdresser's! I've made the bed, fed the birds, put out the rubbish & recycling, changed Sweetie's seed and water, packed my lunch, and been to the C00p for a morning paper for Dad.
Hugs to all and extra hugs for those who need them today.

Best laid plans and all that.... it’s pouring down again here so it looks like both garden and walk are off the agenda! I have put the oven cleaner on though so at least that will get done today! Have also done dailies, just need to have a shower now and then swish the en-suite.
Back later on! X0 -
Morning - just.
((Hugs)) all round, ladies, especially if today is especially difficult for you.
Yesterday I rediscovered my inner flylady. It helped that DD was in clear it, fling it and clean it mode. Together we pretty much managed to blitz it- well actually she just did her room but it counted for about 3 other rooms as it was such a state. We finished the day by a trek to the Swedish store to investigate various bits for the newly decorated room and for her. Not entirely a success in purchases but it was nice to spend time with her.
Today’s plan was to blitz the utility room and maybe venture into the garden. So far I have run a wm load, run the dw and been builder’s mate for skirting board fitting. I’m now flinging from the kitchen bookcase so that we can dismantle DD’s bedroom one. Not exactly in my plan but at least it is flingage.0 -

(((Hugs))) to everyone missing their fathers today.
Hi there Dizzy!
Spending the day sorting, tidying, putting away, filing, clearing up, fixing, mending, folding and all the other things we have to do to keep on top of it all. Then I need to plan my week out next week to make sure I don't miss anything important. There has to be a semblance of order here or the wheels will come off - I'm struggling with exhaustion amid chaos.Better is good enough.0 -
Flagging a bit here.
I'm flaring - skin, joints, tendons, the lot - I'm perpetually burning/itching and leaving a trail of flakes wherever I remove clothing, rub my head or face, my toes are a delicate shade of scarlet, shoes aren't fitting and I'm feeling like I've been spun round in a cement mixer as soon as I open my eyes. I have never been convinced by the 'it's stress' explanation for flares, but if that's combined with Himself's tendency to provide lots of gluten and dairy in every meal, it does make more sense.
In view of the day, I'm strategically maintaining a low profile.
As a result, there has been
Trying to get coating of emollient off the bath.
Explaining to Himself that it's better to use it as a moisturiser, but thank you for running a bath last night [strike]even if it was practically boiling, so was unusable for three hours[.strike].
Smiling sweetly when he said that it's cheaper to use what we already have than get him to ask the pharmacist if they've got Psoriderm. And not mentioning the cost of a plumber and repairs if it solidifies and blocks the pipes. In fairness, he never needed to deal with that stuff when he was a kid and his mum was doing it.
Ordering Psoriderm online.
Ordering a fancy schmancy velvet dress for the concert in a fortnight/all other formal performances and some proper black split sole ballet shoes as they'll be easier to stand in during the concert than proper shoes/the elastics can be sewn on to allow for swelling.
Shaking sense into myself at the thought of ordering clothing similar to what I pretty much lived in when less than half my current weight, aged 17 and mad on dance - prior to my first massive flare - and that I'll probably be doing my hair and makeup in the old style, too. Meh.
Himself is in the bath (seems that he's magnetically attracted to it the moment I clean it) and I took advantage of this by
Decanting flours and grains into glass jars (and stifling a loud EWWWW at finding damned moths in one almost full bag) and putting them in the cupboard.
Sealing all the non permeable packets with clips.
Putting the various duplicates he's bought together.
Clearing stuff off the countertops.
Cleaning the countertops.
Cleaning the fridge/door/top, defunct washing machine (as it still hasn't been disposed of) and freezer.
He did make a nice breakfast this morning, though, and there's a chicken in the SC. That's something to look forward to in about four hours.
Shame I've starving hungry now.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
