expedia vouchers for lounge

Booked Plaza t5 Heathrow airport lounge through Expedia and got vouchers that are supposed to be redeemed in order to use a T5 lounge, I don't get it? Fly in 10 days time.

Redemption locations are in T2 apparently.

Need advice on where exactly in T2 are you supposed to redeem vouchers or in fact anywhere where I'm supposed to get the appropriate documentation to allow me to enter the T5 lounge. Is there an Expedia desk somewhere at Heathrow?

Never used Expedia before hence my confusion.

Booking a Plaza lounge now needs an Amex card and Expedia is the only place I've found that gets around that.

    Redeem them at the lounge itself, surely?

    T2 and T5 are hardly next to each other at Heathrow, having to do one and then the other seems a bit of a faff.

    That's what I thought to be able to do however this is what was sent from Expedia:

    Upon arrival at the redemption location, please present your confirmation/voucher, passport and boarding pass in exchange for your activity. You may redeem your voucher on Level 4, Terminal 2A Departures, Level 1, Terminal 2 Arrivals, or Level 2, Terminal 4 Departures at The Queen's Terminal, London Heathrow Airport.

    Makes no sense and I may well have to cancel.

    Plaza also have a lounge in T2 which is possibly why that address has been provided as standard. Also you cant go through security and redeem it in Departures and then go back through and go to T5, certainly wouldnt be allowed at all.

    You could always give Plaza a ring (or send an email) directly and ask

    You defo have booked the T5 lounge and not the T2 one by mistake?

    Tried the phone - like banging head on a brick wall. It wasn't on our asian friends script!

    It will be fine - as already stated, it is not allowed for people to go through to T2 Departures unless you have a valid boarding card for that terminal, so it is impossible for you to "redeem" vouchers in T2 Departures

    Just go straight to the lounge at T5, and they will sort it there. Just ensure you have actually booked T5 in the first place!

    EDIT - I see the T2 Arrivals Lounge is included in the "redemption" locations. To put your mind at rest you can always go there first and then use the shuttle bus to get to T5, but I dont think you will need to.

    I've decided to cancel the Expedia booking, as I said they were less than helpful on the phone.

    OH phoned lounge reception at T5 and she got a helpful response,
    she haggled a verbal reservation for a good price. Lounge reception were not able to say whether Expedia voucher would be valid or not.

    So, we'll rock up at the lounge, see if the verbal booking worked, if not will have to spend the 'savings' at the Spoons!! Just not as comfy seating. Got a 4 hour wait for flight - yuk!
