Does calling credit card providers help?

Hi all,
At the end of the 0% purchases / BT period, can it help to call a credit card provider to sweet talk them into giving you a few more 0% months? For example if you have been paying the minimum payment on time & not running up any foreign usage fees, etc. (i.e. being 'good') would they do anything like this?
if so, are there any known providers that do this?
Cheers.

Unlikely. There's nothing in it for them.
You'll do far better with a new card.0 -
It seems to me that it doesn't make sense for them to enter into an individual contract with you. It doesn't pay off. As said above, a new credit card will be the best option.0
