Hello,

I am currently getting ESA, however I am thinking about moving, is the same city, just a different area of that city, example postcode(not my actual postcode) BA04 to BA12

Would me moving trigger a move from ESA to universal credit?

Moving would be the only change of circumstance.

Thank you for any help

More information needed to be able to help.

Will you need to claim for help with your rent?

Do you claim the Severe Disability Premium in with your ESA?

Then a move to a different local council will prompt a move to UC because all areas are now a full UC area.

Staying with the same local council won't prompt a move.

The group you're in has nothing to do with SDP. Do you claim PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care?
