Klarna & Credit Card Fees

in Credit cards
Hi,
Some quick background info: I’m 18 and looking to use a credit building credit card (Aqua Classic) to start to build my credit score.
I want to use Klarna to finance payment for ‘luxuries’ (e.g. trainers) over 3 months. They call this option ‘Slice It’. I would limit this to only 1 £100 or less purchase a month. This is something I can easily afford without a credit card (Therefore I know I am able to pay this off in full every month). However I wish to pay for this using my credit card as a means to get my credit score up. I see using this one transaction as a better way for me personally to handle my spending, rather than using my card to fund everyday purchases as I believe I’d get carried away.
My actual question is whether the aqua classic card specifically will charge for these Klarna payments. There isn’t much info out there in this but some people have reported they got charged a cash transaction fee for using their credit card with klarna and some haven’t had this.
Has anyone here used Aqua Classic with Klarna and what were your experiences?
(I’m asking here first as Aqua doesn’t seem like a good company in terms of communication)

I've got an Aqua card and have not found their communication to be problematic. Why trust an anonymous person on the internet? I recommend ringing Aqua and asking them if there will be a (cash transaction) fee when you pay your Klarna bill with a credit card.
I really only posted to make a point about section 75 protection. If you pay for an item worth £100 or over using a credit card, then you get s75 protection. If you use Klarna as an intermediary, then the link between the supplier, the card company and the customer is broken and s75 protection does not come into effect.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

I see your point, but I think due to my age and lack of knowledge in the area, I prefer to speak with people online.
I haven’t found an email service or online chat for Aqua unless I haven’t looked well enough.
Also thanks for bringing the section 75 thing to my attention. Klarna have their own means of buyer protection as do the retailers I tend to use so not super worried about that - still good to know though.0 -

Couldn’t find anything official on the matter, just going by others’ experiences.0 -

This is one persons claim that the payment was treated as a cash transaction contradicted by another person that their payment was not, so who knows?0
