Unexpected interest in my Santander 123

My interest etc is always on the 23rd of the month. Today I've been credited with £7.28. Any suggestions why? Has it happened to anyone else?

The £1 fee on my 123 Lite is now taken on a different date of the month. I put it down to the fact it's now a "switcher" account. Maybe yours is the same?

I think it might depend on who processes your switch, or what time of day they process it, or what the weather's like when they process it.

I have two "switcher" accounts. The date for crediting the interest and for charging the fee on one account has now become two different dates, neither of which is the old one. The date for crediting/charging on the other account has not changed at all. If there is any logic to the changes they make, it's not obvious.

I have also switched into a third Santander account which didn't become a "switcher" at all.

Mine is more straightforward. I've had the one Santander 123 account for many years and I have three switches going into it on 14/6. It has been marked Switcher in its description.
