Had a row in WH Smith yesterday as they still had the poster in the window for Guiness book at £10. They wouldn't sell it for £10. They said the can reduce a price on the till but not increase. So stomped around the store lookiong for a cheap book so I could use the voucher.

However, i came across five cookery books that are only £5 each when bought with any other book. I checked the voucher and it just says 'not in conjunction with any other voucher' and doesn't say anything about 'any other offer'.

Boths books went through fine using the voucher so I got Guiness and a cookery book for £9.50! The one I got was 'Jamie Does'.

I've checked and it's the same five cookery books selling for £5 each online:

Lol, i bet thats the first time someone has asked them to charge more for something!

I am having trouble using any vouchers at the moment. I was in WHS Brighton on Tuesday and many of the books were around £15, so with voucher £10. Last year there were so many of them at £10 before the voucher. I guess its a waiting game with them.
I also noticed in Brighton that there were a lot of titles that didnt have a price sticker on at all, a bit naughty of them, unless of course they were charging full price.:naughty::naughty::naughty:
