well you say boxes. Theres many types.
With 3 different boxes I would expect a dish/wiring fault
with 3 of the same boxes, possibly software
As I explained in my original post my Daughter, who lives close by, is also experiencing the same problem so doubt if it's a fault with our LNB or wiring or software. I suspect this is weather related so was enquiring if anyone else is experiencing the same problem, as you live in Scotland and I live in Cornwall I very much doubt that we are experiencing the same extremely wet weather at the moment.0 -

Do you live near Cornwall ?0 -
The signal from the satellite has travelled some 26,000 miles and will be prone to anything that gets in the way of it.
A good example is very dense rain clouds, which a lot of the country is experiencing at present.
You should find that it reappears as soon as the rain passes.0 -

Sorry. I should obviously have known your daughter doesn't live in the same house and you live in Cornwall........0 -

On the subject of free sat from the sky dish (just got a new dish and retuned the default channel from 68 to 21 RF 2 for the magic eyes in other rooms) is it a common enough thing to have one sky channel breaking up but all others fine, for example the info channel 999 I think was breaking up a lot, but all others seemed fine?
Changing the RF2 to channel 21 gratefully improved the picture through the magic eyes cable though.0
