A number of years ago I went through a claims management company re PPI which they successfully claimed from Halifax as far as I can remember, I believe they took 20% of the award. Out of the blue today I have had a letter from Barclays basically saying they are undertaking a review of their files and they have identified in a small proportion of enquiries they gave out the wrong info and advised that they could not find a PPI policy for a Morgan Stanley Card I had so they have investigated on my behalf and awarded me some monies with a chq enclosed because a CMC was involved a number of yrs ago they have copied them in on the letter - my question is now is the CMC entitled to anything of this award - I have yet to find the energy to go through my paperwork to find their original terms and conditions but already I have a voicemail from the CMC asking them to call me and thoughts appreciated thanks

No. But they will probably attempt to. However, the position is published.

Whilst not exactly the same they basically confirm that the contract ends then the complaint response from the bank/lender was given or when the FOS decision took place.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). That's perfect, the first doc sums up my position very clearly, I will enjoy my modest unexpected windfall, they will not be receiving a penny!
thanks for your help0
