Admiral life policy switched to Cigna

Hi all, just looking for a little advice. I received a letter today from Cigna insurance saying that they will now be administrating my life insurance policy and admiral will have nothing to do with it. Is this alright? I took out this policy when my son was born to pay out incase something happened to me, but I have never heard of this company (Google shows them to be an American health insurance firm with a UK offshoot) I originally picked Admiral because they have a good rep in the UK , even though they weren't the cheapest. I feel like I took this out for piece of mind, and now I don't have that. Has this happened to anyone else, and should I worry?

If you feel you no longer have peace of mind, just get some quotes from the meerkats or whoever. If there is one that is competitive with what you are currently paying and with an insurer you are happier with, take that and cancel the existing policy (check that there are no cancellation fees). If not then do some more research.0

Insurers sell the risk to other insurers is a normal part of the world .0
