virgin media (mobile) vent

moved from plusnet to virgin on a sim only package , porting successful

just want a quiet life , enough free mins ant TXT and data not to worry about bill

cap put in place , premium cars barred etc

for the last 7 weekdays (since joining) a txt every morning "do you know you can , do this , do that etc etc

rung them up , said PLEASE turn off marketing and stop txting me

bloke said he would

thank you goodbye

1 min later a a txt "do you know you can save time and get call back by pressing option ,,,,,,,,,,,"

the will to live is slowly leaving me

Might just be a new customer thing, I've been with them for over 3 years now and I don't get any texts like those. If you stick with it they may just go away. And you should be able to check and amend marketing preferences by logging into your Virgin Mobile account rather than hoping that their rather useless phone support will do it for you.
