Amazon have removed free postage offer

Just been doing some chrimbo shopping, and just as I was about to click on place order, I noticed that they were charging postage on my order (which is well over #35.00)
They have removed the option for choosing delivery type, and unless you pay for the new premium service, there is no free postage any more.
I konw I shouldn't moan about not getting something for nothing, but I buy a lot from amazon, and am really p****d off!

Have they? That's awful. I ordered from them yesterday and I saw all the links about the new premium service, but it still allowed me to select free delivery for my order - which totalled £15 and a few pence.0

I've just added something under £15 in my basket and got this message:
Add £0.96 to your order to qualify forfree Super Saver Delivery. Some restrictions apply.
Are you ordering from Amazon or Amazon Market place? I know postage is charged if using the latter.

I didnt no this they must have just added this, I certainly think twice next time to order as its the postage that makes the difference between using them and going else where on some occasions. There not the cheapest on goods but postage tends to swing it in there favour0

Sure you are not buying items for market place sellers?
I still get the option for free delivery OK, for Amazon purchases.0 -

I've said it before in threads, and I'll say it again.
I Really, really wish there was an option you could tick to hide 3rd party suppliers on Amazon.0 -
