does anyone know if interrail is covered by any insurance like UK travel agents?

    Insurance? What do you mean?

    If you mean can you buy travel insurance then of course you can, but I dont understand why you are bringing UK travel agents into it.

    At a guess it may be that the OP is wondering whether there is ABTA cover on an Interrail booking made at a travel agent, but it would help if the specific issue that is concerning them was described.

    There certainly isn't ABTA cover if a rail company goes but then can anyone remember a European rail company closing down, Greece may have closed most of their rail lines but that is a different matter
