Looks like this is a term time only job....however....if so, there should be 5+ weeks of holiday pay added on. HR will be able to give a definitive figure.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

Pretty useless amount of information given by the employer it seems to me.
Is the higher hourly rate if the person works over 7.5 hours a week or if they work more than a full-time person would? It doesn't seem right as the calculation of rolling up holiday pay into an hourly rate (which is not lawful any way).
Is the 38 weeks all to be worked or does that include holiday time too.
The employer needs to spell out what they mean.
Pro rata in the original statement doesn't mean anything as far as I can see as it doesn't say what a full-time person would work/be paid.0 -
