Hello all
We're still miffed and embarrassed about Dad's behaviour from yesterday, people must think he's a right so and so
.
Anyway today we called in at the van then went on to Morries for a top up shop and cake, as requested by DGD
( DD and the DGC are coming over for Sunday lunch this week :j ) Dad has an invite but "he may be too ill " apparently. Hey ho the invite is there. I shall have a freezer dive later to find a leg of lamb and bring it nearer to the top and try to shoehorn a loaf of bread in.
I have put the WM on with a load and hopefully it will line dry, but there are some black clouds scudding about. I need to clean the bathroom this afternoon too.
I have also been watching the DDay celebrations with a tissue in hand. Mr Fix it's late father was there, but my Dad missed it as he was too young, but listening to him he was in charge of it all !
Hope everyone has a good day.
Take care

Afternoon all. Organza Lace thanks for the poem. I have leaky eyes now.
Well DH has permission to drive from the dvla pending the return of his licence. He is a really happy chappy! After his check up on 2nd July we can finally put the brain tumour (benign) behind us.
Well hugs and spoons to all. Have a good day.

SO......hugs.
Gers.....hope ensure stuff helps your DM.
OL ....well done to your eldest, and your daughter in SA.
Like the D Day poem
Ginto.....glad to hear that your OH can drive again.....I would commit murder if I had to be driven by OH, the weeks after my hip replacement were torture!
-taff......so agree with you about garden centres......the plants are lovely aren't they? Would love to see the Kaffe Fassett exhibition , but Bath is off my radar at present.
Knitting like mad at present to finish the third dress for my little granddaughters, bought the yarn to do the last one today....., they have lots of clothes and don't need a mad old woman to knit for them, but one of them will ask for something, then the other three join in so what can I do??
Stay safe and well everybody.
